We are a dynamic and forward-thinking community of senior engineering leaders and software developers driven by a shared mission: to make tech recruitments efficient, fair and transparent for both hiring companies and candidates.
It is our belief that the traditional tech hiring process is flawed, leading to frustration and inefficiencies for both candidates and companies. In today’s competitive market, candidates often find themselves caught in a cycle of repetitive screening steps, encountering individuals lacking the technical expertise to evaluate their true potential. Additionally, lengthy and opaque hiring procedures can leave candidates feeling disengaged and uncertain about their progress.
Similarly, hiring companies face their own set of challenges. Countless hours and significant resources are invested in the search for qualified candidates, while teams tirelessly review resumes and attempt to validate claimed skills. Unfortunately, biases can unintentionally seep into the decision-making process, hindering diversity and fairness. Furthermore, instances of candidate ghosting add to the strain faced by hiring teams, impeding progress and prolonging the time-to-hire.
At Karazmi, we have started a journey to reinvent this broken paradigm. Our firm conviction lies in the power of evidence-based hiring, a systematic and data-driven approach, and protected reusability of information. In 2021, we introduced the concept of z-profile: a digitized, comprehensive, and reliable curriculum vitae tailored specifically for candidates within the tech industry. These z-profiles offer companies an invaluable resource while providing candidates with a protected and easily shareable representation of their professional skills and achievements. Since its inception, various companies have partnered with Karazmi, embracing z-profiles as a catalyst to fast-track candidates through the recruitment funnel. Many talented individuals have recognized the immense value of creating their z-profiles, successfully bypassing repetitive screening processes with various organizations. The positive feedback received from both candidates and companies has only solidified our resolute commitment to our mission.
However, we cannot accomplish this ambitious undertaking alone. We invite more developers to join our ranks, creating their z-profiles and utilizing them in their job applications. Likewise, we eagerly seek companies that are open to accepting z-profiles for their job positions.
Together, we can reshape the tech recruitment landscape, forging a future where the process is seamless and empowering for both candidates and companies alike.
We value our relations highly.
We put high effort in communicating as clearly as possible.
We are never done learning.
We take full responsibility of our commitments while helping others in theirs.
Al-Kharazmi (c. 780 – c. 850) was a Persian polymath who produced works in mathematics, astronomy and geography. His name was latinized as Algoritmi which is where the word algorithm originates from. That is why modern historians call him “father of algorithm”.
