It is important for us at krzmi AB (below “karazmi”) that you know your rights and understand how we collect and use your personal data, to whom we disclose them and how long we store them. Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, the definitions used herein will have the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions.

 

This Privacy Policy applies to our collection and use of your personal data or personal information (or equivalent terms). When we refer to “data” or “information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to personal data or personal information; we use those terms interchangeable throughout this Policy to refer to data/information that relates to you as an identifiable person, that identifies, relates to, or describes you, or that is reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to you.

 

Karazmi acts as the data controller and is accountable for the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

 

1 PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

 

When not logged in, visitors to webpages under karazmi.com are not subject to data collection by us. To deliver our Services as outlined in the Terms and Conditions, we collect data as follows:

 

Personal Information You Provide: We collect Personal Information if you create an account to use our Services or communicate with us as follows:

 

Account Information: Upon signing up and account, all Users are required to provide their first and last name, as well as an email address. Providing a phone number is optional.

 

User Content: When Candidates create their z-profiles, the have the option to upload a photo, add links to their  professional or social media profiles, and attach a CV.

 

Skill Assessment Information: Candidates are required to provide their first and last name, as well as an email address to the third-party platform delivering karazmi’s technical challenges. The third-party platform operates as data processor. We also collect information that is collected related during the Tech-Talk including communication with Buddies and their ratings, as well as their written comments.

 

Communication Information: If you communicate with us, we collect your name, contact information, and the contents of any messages you send.

 

Personal Information We Receive Automatically From Your Use of the Services: When you use or interact with our Services, we receive the following information about your use or interactions:

 

Log Data: Information that your browser automatically sends when you use our Services. Log data includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interact with our website.

 

Usage Data: We may automatically collect information about your use of the Services, such as the types of content that you view or engage with, the features you use and the actions you take, as well as your time zone, country, the dates and times of access, user agent and version and type of computer or mobile device.

 

Device Information: Includes operating system, device identifiers,  and browser you are using. Information collected may depend on the type of device you use and its settings.

 

Cookies: We use cookies to operate and administer our Services, and improve your experience. A “cookie” is a piece of information sent to your browser by a website you visit.

In addition, from time to time, we may analyze the general behavior and characteristics of users of our Services and share aggregated information like general user statistics with third parties, publish such aggregated information or make such aggregated information generally available. We will maintain and use de-identified information in anonymous or de-identified form and we will not attempt to reidentify the information, unless required by law.

 

 

3 HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR DATA

Vendors and Service Providers: In order to support our business operations and offer certain services and functionalities, we may share Personal Information with third-party vendors and service providers. This includes, but is not limited to, hosting services, cloud providers, IT service providers, email communication platforms, and web analytics providers. Acting on our directives, these entities will only access, process, or store Personal Information when executing their responsibilities on our behalf.

 

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your Personal Information, including details of your engagement with our Services, to government bodies, industry peers, or other third parties under the following circumstances: (i) if mandated by law or if sharing is necessitated by a genuine belief of meeting a legal requirement, (ii) to safeguard our rights or assets, (iii) in cases where we believe there’s a breach of our terms, policies, or any legal stipulation, (iv) to identify or prevent fraud or other unlawful activities, (v) to ensure the safety and security of our products, staff, users, or the general public, and (vi) to guard against potential legal claims.

 

Business Transfers: In the event of a strategic transaction, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or service transition to another provider (“Transaction”), your Personal Information and related data may be shared during the due diligence process with parties involved in the Transaction and could be transferred to a successor or affiliated entity as part of the Transaction assets.

 

 

4 HOW LONG WE PROCESS YOUR DATA

 

We retain your personal data only for the duration required to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Once your data is no longer necessary, we ensure its deletion from our systems, databases, and backups.

 

Upon termination of your account, your account will be deleted from the platform. 

 

At the latest, we keep all your personal information for 36 months after your last activity in our Platform.

 

We may be required to retain your personal data due to legal requirements, to protect our legitimate interests, or for other significant public concerns.

 

 

5 YOUR RIGHTS

 

You possess the right to access information about the personal data we hold on you and how we utilize it. You also possess certain rights to control your data. Thus, in specific situations, you have the right to obtain, correct, or delete your personal data, and to request limitations on its processing. Additionally, under certain circumstances, you can object to our processing of your personal data. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

 

 

6 HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

 

Your trust is of paramount importance to us. Thus, karazmi has instituted robust safeguards to shield your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, and deletion.

Should there be a security breach that poses a significant risk to you or your personal data, such as potential fraud or identity theft, we will promptly notify you and provide guidance on the steps both we and you can take to mitigate such risks.

 

 

7 CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

 

We have the right to, at any time, make changes or additions to the Privacy Policy. The “Last update and effective as of” date at the top of this page refers to the last date this Privacy Policy was updated. A new version is considered communicated to the Users when the User has either received an email informing the User of the new version (using the e-mail stated by the User in connection to the use of the Services) or when the User is otherwise informed of the new Privacy Policy.
